My family has been involved with rabbits since the summer of 2004 when we bought our first Holland Lop at our county 4-H small animal auction. We then went and observed a few ARBA shows and bought a few more rabbits. The kids showed their rabbits at our county fair the following year. We then started showing at ARBA shows. We are now members of ARBA, the WSRBA, HLRSC and the Midwest Holland Lop Club. My youngest daughter Abby showed in the youth program up until the spring of 2009. She has become to busy to keep up with going to all the shows due to school and sports. So I have taken over and am showing in the open class. We have tried many different breeds but have always had, and have fallen in love with the Holland Lops.
The Hollands are all we breed and focus on now.
My family and I live on a small 20 acre hobby farm right outside of Oostburg, Wisconsin which is a small town about 40 miles north of Milwaukee on Lake Michigan. Besides our rabbits, we raise beef cattle, poultry, goats, and then we also have our cats and dogs. We spend a lot of time with all of our animals and love them all.
I would like to thank Christine Feld and Tim and Ardis Hartwig for selling me some awesome rabbits which are the foundation of my heard. I also want to thank one of my best friends Teri Antonioni for teaching me so much about the Holland Lops. She has also given me some of her black hell! Thanks Teri!
Please feel free to take a look around and if you have any questions please leave me a comment on my contact page.
Thanks and enjoy!
